About the Event

Join Alder Tree Mindfulness Derby for an introduction to the beautiful art of Mindfulness.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of what Mindfulness is and how the practice can bring about transformation and insights into our life
  • Experience guided meditations as the formal practice of mindfulness
  • Learn how mindfulness can help us manage stress and anxiety
  • Learn how to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life and how it can help you to ride the storms and challenges of life.
  • What next? how to develop your practice further.

This introduction workshop also provides the opportunity to meet with other like-minded individuals and opens the gateway into The Alder Tree Mindfulness online and in-person community which includes monthly meetups *, resources, recorded meditations and themed workshops as well as the longer 5 and 8-week courses commencing in 2021.

* We are slowly resuming our in-person events, numbers are currently limited to 6 people, this ensures we can maintain a 2 metre social distance. As these events are limited, for the rest of this year we will be offering online workshops to support your practice and online introduction events, which then allows you access to  in person workshops and retreats, more information will be given on this online introduction workshop.

Our online workshops are hosted through password protected Zoom webinar, a link, and further information will be emailed to you on booking.

Our online workshops include lots of pauses and time for reflection and also time away from the screen. In order to create that retreat, please ensure you are in a comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed, with a good internet connection, have a cuppa (or whatever your favorite beverage is) ready, sit back and enjoy the journey into the world of mindfulness.

£20 per intro session.   Details on how to pay will be emailed to you on registration.
