Love your life

A journey back home

Life can have a habit of covering up our light and spark. The last few years' challenges may have left you wondering which way to turn or wondering who you are underneath all the life stuff.

My four-month life coaching programme can help you to gain clarity, understand what makes you tick, gain some stability and presence, and take those steps to align your life with your values, strengths and authenticity.

Perhaps something here resonates with you, be that wanting to learn more about your sensitive nature, perhaps you want to know yourself better, what your values and strengths are or you just want to fall back in love with life, to uncover that innate sense of joy that we all had when we were born (yep it is still there).

Maybe life has thrown up some challenges and you just want somebody by your side to walk alongside you through the change, be it a change of career, a new relationship, the ending of a relationship, or similar to me, a bereavement that was a wake-up call to embrace this one time offer of life.

Whatever it is, you are assured of a gentle, safe, nurturing environment to work through things.

Every moment a new beginning, every step, every breath.

Before committing to any coaching session or programme, let's chat first via phone or zoom to make sure we are a good fit together.

Who I work with

Solopreneurs, business owners, educators, the helpers of this world. As a highly sensitive person (HSP), I work well with fellow HSPs but really as long as you want to invest in yourself and are committed to taking that journey of self-discovery, then the door is open.

Before starting any coaching journey though, let's have a chat together to make sure we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable with it all.

I am based in a lovely location at Staunton Harold Hall, near Ashby De La Zouch, about 10 miles outside of Derby city centre, set in some gorgeous countryside. Coaching sessions often involve getting on the walking shoes and heading out into the estate grounds and surrounding countryside, giving you space and time to really benefit from your coaching sessions as well as seeing new perspectives on things, nature being the second coach.

I also offer online coaching via zoom for those that cannot join me in person or whatever your preference is.

Over the last decade mindfulness has been a constant friend during my own journey of self-discovery, as such it can also form part of your journey if you so wish and I would be most honoured to share this life-affirming practice with you. In 2017 I carried out my train to teach mindfulness journey with MindfulnessCIC. Each week I run a free to join mindfulness meditation group and different events throughout the year.

How does coaching work?

I provide a safe, welcoming, non judgmental environment where you can feel supported which in turn enables growth and self discovery. Life has a habit of covering up our innate strengths values and joy, our time together will be about discovering you underneath all of that life stuff. Giving you time and space to be you.

What can we talk about?

Anything, really this is all about your journey, uncovering your own answers, resilience, strength and authenticity. I will walk alongside you and support you. I will never push you to talk about something you don't want to but you can be assured of a safe, confidential and nurturing environment.
If something comes up that I perhaps cannot support you with, such as deep or clinical depression, deep trauma or PTSD, please still talk to me. I have access to a network of professionals that can help. Talking is the first step.

How can I be assured of your credentials and framework of coaching?

I am a member of the Association of Coaching and as such, follow a strict global code of conduct as a professional coach. A copy of which will be sent to you prior to commencing any coaching journey with me. I will also ask you to read through and sign a coaching agreement prior to your coaching session which clearly sets out the framework for our sessions and what you can expect from me as a coach and also what i expect from you as a coachee. I offer a free no obligation introduction call to everyone prior to commitiing to coaching with me.

Where will the coaching session be held?

You can come to our premises at Lion Court, Staunton Harold Hall, this is where the majority our our coaching sessions are carried out. Lion Court is a really welcoming space, you will be greeted at the reception (in winter the lovely fire will be lit) and we will head to one of the meeting room's, unlimited teas, coffees etc are available during your visit. Lion Court is the west wing of the beautiful Staunton Harold Hall, set in acres of estate ground and countryside that we have access to during your coaching journey. We can mix it up depending on the weather, part of your session inside and part outside walking in the countryside. This can really assist coaching, giving you space to reflect, unwind and relax in a lovely environment. Should you be unable to attend in person or prefer to stay in the comfort of your own home, I also offer online session via secure zoom meetings.

Are your premises Covid Secure?

I am of course constantly reviewing our covid procedures to ensure your visit is as safe as it can possibly be. We will follow all government guidelines. Lion Court is a Covid Secure building, air flow measurements have been taken in all the meeting rooms to ensure there is adequate ventilation and the readings show we are above all the recommendations. Extra cleaning and sanitization is being carried out. I ask that you wear a facemask in all the common areas as it is a shared building and we can remain 1 metre plus distancing during the session. We also have access to the great outdoors and some beautiful grounds around Staunton Harold Hall, so if you prefer, your coaching session can be held outside subject to the weather. We reserve the right to change your coaching session to an online session via zoom and this option is always available to you.

Why 4 months?

This journey of self discovery takes time, there is no quick fix, but a slower, gentler and sustainable approach allows for lasting results and allows time to really integrate things whilst being supported by me as your coach. After the four months, I offer the ability to book just one off coaching sessions with me should you need a top up or if something crops up that you want to work through together.
