Who am I? It was this question that started me on this journey, well over a decade ago.  I had come to a bit of a crossroads in life, wondering which way to turn, wondering about my identity, who I really was, what manhood really meant and what it meant to feel comfortable in my own skin.,

The surface stuff of who I am, qualified life coach, over ten years experience in jobs advice and guidance and latterly in small business operations.

Under the surface, gentle, sensitive, passionate about equality, equanimity and kindness.

For years I thought this sensitivity was a weakness, but now I see it as a strength.

This is what I can help you with, to support you and walk alongside you, to uncover and embrace who you are, to align life in accordance with your values and authenticity and most importantly to rediscover the joy of living.

  • Confidentiality - It's between you, me, and sometimes my little terrier George.

  • Your journey - This is your journey, you set the agenda

  • Unconditional positive regard - bring it to the table, no judgment.

  • Safe - be assured of a safe, welcoming and nurturing space

  • Equality - A safe space for all with mutual respect.

  • Simplicity, flexibility and freedom - because life is complicated enough

Who I work with

I work with people from all walks of life. As long as you want to invest in yourself and are committed to taking that journey of self-discovery then the door is open.

Before starting any coaching journey though, let's have a chat together to make sure we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable with it all.

I am based in a lovely location at Staunton Harold Hall, near Ashby De La Zouch, about 10 miles outside of Derby city centre, set in some gorgeous countryside. Coaching sessions often involve getting on the walking shoes and heading out into the estate grounds and surrounding countryside, giving you space and time to really benefit from your coaching sessions as well as seeing new perspectives on things, nature being the second coach.

I also offer online coaching via zoom for those that cant join me in person or whatever your preference is.

Over the last decade mindfulness has been a constant friend during my own journey of self-discovery, as such it can also form part of your journey if you so wish and I would be most honoured to share this life-affirming practice with you. In 2017 I carried out my train to teach mindfulness journey with MindfulnessCIC. Each week I run a free to join mindfulness meditation group and different events throughout the year.
